Steven Seth Ely, age 55 of Richland, MI died Tuesday March 8, 2016 at his home. He was born in Three Rivers on February 8, 1961 the son of Howard R. and Virginia Ann (Brown) Ely. He had resided in Richland the past year, coming from Plainwell. He was employed as a technician for J-S Automation in Plainwell. He enjoyed travelling with his family, and off-road RV riding. Steven is survived by his mother, Virginia Ann Ely of Three Rivers; sister, Patricia (Frank) Meudt of Three Rivers; three brothers, Brian and Tom Ely of Three Rivers, and Doug (Debra) Ely of Constantine; two nephews, Adam and Seth Meudt of Three Rivers. He was preceded in death by his father; three brothers, Gerald, Jeffrey, and Kenneth Ely. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm Wednesday March 16, 2016 at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers, and where memorial services will begin at 3:00 pm.
