Ronald Eugene Sears, age 60, of Marcellus, MI, passed away on May 7, 2025, at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI after a lifetime of illness and disability—challenges that never held him back or dimmed his spirit.

Born on June 10, 1964, in Three Rivers, MI, Ron was the son of Charles E. and Rosemary H. (Erdos) Sears. He spent most of his life in the St. Joseph County area, though he always held a deep affection for Constantine, MI, where he created many memories.

Ron was a hardworking man, always the first to lend a hand. His heart was as big as his determination, and he lived life with energy and resilience. He loved the outdoors—especially hunting and fishing—and had a true passion for riding quads and motorcycles. He was never one to sit still, always on the go, always moving forward.

More than anything, Ron loved his family. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren, and his greatest joy was found in the moments shared around bonfires and cookouts, surrounded by those he loved most.

Ron is survived by his children, Cheryl (Dan Tisdel) Sears of Sturgis, MI, and Scott (Amy) Sears of Three Rivers, MI; his grandchildren, Dalton and Kassidi Tisdel, and Charles and Rosemary Sears; and his siblings, Charles Sears, Carol (Dave) Flynn, Richard (Violet) Sears, and Mary (Jim) Johnson. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
