Obituary

*****Those that are attending his Celebration of life Bob's wife, Barb, asks that before you come to the Celebration please write a memory on a piece of paper; it can be a sticky note or 5 pages of memories. We wish to have the written memories scattered around the funeral home so others can read his memories shared with others.*****

Robert "Bob" Lee Crandell was born in Pontiac, Michigan, on March 17, 1938, and passed away on December 3, 2025 at the age of 87.

Bob spent his youth in Fremont, Michigan. A three-season varsity athlete at Fremont High School, he remained an avid sports fan throughout his life and a loyal, life-long friend to his special group of 1956 classmates. Bob went on to attend the University of Michigan before living for periods in Indiana and Colorado. He eventually settled in Three Rivers, Michigan, where he owned and operated Corey Lake Marina.

Bob later married Barb Reyes, and together they built their dream home.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather (Jim) Holmgren of Scottsdale, AZ; his five grandchildren; Stepsons: Scott ( Erica) Reyes of Tucson, AZ and Guy (Brittany) Reyes of Cantonment, FL; his sister, Margo Bultman (Baars); and his wife, Barb. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Ronald, and his son, Todd Crandell.

In accordance with Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place.
