Ricky Robert VanDyke, age 65 passed away February 9 2024 at his home in Three Rivers, MI. He was born in Kalamazoo, MI on April 7, 1958, a son to Robert and Beverly (Nash) VanDyke. He spent his younger years in Kalamazoo and Vicksburg, but had resided in Three Rivers, for the last 25 years. He worked his whole life as a truck driver working for many local transportation companies. Ricky loved watching and participating in stock car racing at Galesburg Speedway, he even won a race. Ricky was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt. Ricky is survived by four children: Jennifer (Derek) Drake of Kalamazoo, MI, Amy VanDyke of Kalamazoo, MI, Catherine VanDyke of Rutherford, TN and Eric VanDyke of Dresden, TN; Grandchildren: Ceirra VanDyke, Owen Drake, Amaya VanDyke, Samara VanDyke, Jalen Mathis, and Scarlett VanDyke; Siblings: Robin VanDyke and Randy VanDyke; and nieces and nephews; Dearest Friends: Rex and Sue, and Jerry. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeff VanDyke. In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. There are no services scheduled at this time.
