Rex M. Oberlander, age 76 of Three Rivers, died Friday Sep. 7, 2012. He was born in Three Rivers on March 7, 1936 the only child of Marion C. and Viola M. (Kline) Oberlander and was a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. He had worked for many years at Petersen Spring in Three Rivers. He enjoyed hunting & fishing in his spare time. Rex was married to Barbara Williams in Three Rivers on Nov. 3, 1956. She survives along with two children, Robin (Steve) Maines of Florida, and Pam (David) Ferguson of Three Rivers; 5 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Tammy Losik. It was Rex's request to be cremated. A private memorial service will be held by his family at a later date.
