Phyllis Cecilia Macey, age 84 of Three Rivers, died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at her home following a long illness. She was born in Carbondale, PA on Oct. 16, 1924 the daughter of the late Angelo and Josephine (Turcasso) Falbo. Phyllis was married to Leonard Macey on April 24, 1948 in Carbondale. They resided in New Jersey following their marriage, and moved to Three Rivers in 1953 where Leonard worked for Continental Can Co. They retired to Florida in 1977 and returned to Three Rivers in 2002. Phyllis was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she served with the Daughters of Mary and was a volunteer at the church school. She was also a member of the Lady Elks, enjoyed bowling and card playing, and was a member of Sauganash Country Club. Phyllis is survived by her husband, Leonard; three daughters and their spouses, Carol & Richard Harden of Three Rivers, Joanie & Gene Dunnington of Schoolcraft, and Jeanie & David Sluder of Three Rivers; 10 grandchildren, Stephen Harden, Deana Lamanuzzi, Tracy Szymanski, Jennifer Robinson, Robert Dunnington, John Dunnington, Joshua Dunnington, Ellie Dunnington, Dustin Covell, and Amanda Covell; 7 great-grandchildren, Sam Szymanski, Tyler Szymanski, Adam Harden, Ben Harden, Kristofer Harden, Rachel Harden, and Brittany Lamanuzzi; 2 sisters, Rose Cimino of Jenson Beach, FL, and Anna Cerra of Carbondale, PA. Cremation has been conducted. A memorial mass will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Three Rivers with Rev. Father Mark Vyverman officiating.
