Pauline Lucinda Nash (nee Modert) of Three Rivers passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018. Pauline was born January 17, 1923 in Branch County, Michigan and was united in marriage to Otto Nash on August 30, 1946. Pauline worked at Miller's Soda Fountain and JJ Newberry's in downtown Three Rivers. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Mary Modert; husband, Otto Nash; brothers, Orville and Richard Modert; sisters, Mary Bingaman and Dorothy McDonald; and a great-granddaughter Pyper Guthrie. She is survived by her sister, Pearl (Stub) Westfall; three children, Steven Nash, Linda Guthrie, and Mary Nash; two grandchildren, Derek (Angie) Guthrie and Jessi McCarroll; three great grandchildren, Kasmin, Summer, and Bryce Guthrie; brothers in law, Hubert McDonald and Duane Bingaman; and by numerous loved nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Hofstra of Southern Care Hospice officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
