Paul Lester Keeler, age 63 of Three Rivers died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at his home following a brief illness. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on Sep. 27, 1954 the son of Fernando F. and Rosetta E. (Goldey) Keeler. He attended Battle Creek schools and served in the U.S. Marine corps from October of 1971 to December of 1974. Paul was a mechanic, working independently and at several local garages such as Sands Conversions near Schoolcraft, Summer Song in Kalamazoo, and Wrench Master in Sebring, Florida. He was a former member of the Lions Club in Kalamazoo.
Paul was married to Sandy Kay Kent on Feb. 13, 1987 in Centreville. She survives along with two daughters, Kim (Ron Beebe) Drobny of Battle Creek and Stacey (Travis) Maher of Augusta; three step-sons, Craig (Wendy) Boyer of Dallas, Marty (Tina) Boyer and Steven (Dyana) Boyer both of Marcellus;
14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Keeler and George (Linda) Keeler of Comstock, Owen (Gina) Keeler of Portage; two sisters, Tina (Tom) Taylor of Vicksburg and Lisa (Tim) Jones of Galesburg; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Michael, and a sister, Edith.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been conducted. Memorial services will be announced for later this Spring. Assistance was provided by the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel of Three Rivers.
