Norma Ann Brown, age 55 of Sturgis, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She was born in Three Rivers on Dec. 24, 1954 the daughter of Richard and Betty (Lytle) Brown and was a lifetime resident of Saint Joseph County. Norma graduated from Mendon High School with the Class of 1973. For several years she worked in home health care, and was later a secretary for the Three Rivers Merchant's Association, now known as the DDA. She was a collector of rabbit dolls, toys, and figurines.
Norma is survived by a son, Kevin Brown (Shianne) of Three Rivers; her father, Richard Brown of Centreville; 2 brothers, Rick Brown, Jr. (Lynn) of Constantine and Randy Brown (Lou Ann) of Sturgis; 5 nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Brown in November of 2000.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel of Three Rivers. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Evans of the New Beginnings Church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
