Nila Mae Anderson, 82 of Three Rivers passed away at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo on Thursday, December 3, 2009 She was born to the late Frank and Gladys (Barnhart) Meyer on June 1, 1927 in Centreville, MI. Nila was one of twelve children and attended Three Rivers H. S. She lived in many different places including Elkhart, IN; Sweeny TX; Tyler TX before returning to live in Three Rivers. Nila will be especially remembered for her tenacity, sharp wit and loving heart. She lived her life with selfless devotion and love for her children. She was a loving mother and caregiver. She loved to read her bible and pray. Nila is survived by her brother Dean Meyer (Rosemary) of Elkhart, IN; six children; Robert (Laura) Lendman of Grandview, MO; John (Debra) Lendman of Elkhart, IN; Michael (Ashleigh) Anderson of Forney, TX; Tim (Mya) Anderson of Brownsville, TX; Shirley (Mike) Miller of Elkhart, IN and Alexis Anderson of Three Rivers, MI. 13 grandchildren and 6 great grand children. She was preceded by her husbands; Robert Lendman Sr. and Ronald Anderson and 10 siblings; Thelma Roberts, Robert Meyer, Russ Meyer, Leo Meyer, Christian Meyer, Donald Meyer, Margaret Price, Richard Meyer, Gladys Hogden and Frank Meyer. Services will be held Monday, December 7, 2009 at Oakdale Chapel in Riverside Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Riverside Cemetery Three Rivers.
