Mildred Fay Pierce Garcia, age 68 of Three Rivers died Monday Dec. 14, 2015 at her home. She was born in Chicago on June 11, 1947 the daughter of John and Mildred (Epp) Garcia. Mildred graduated from Three Rivers High School and had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the old Three Rivers Hospital and at Fairview Nursing Home. She was also a former bus driver for the Three Rivers Head Start program. Mildred enjoyed flower gardening, and was fan of Elvis Presley. Mildred is survived by a daughter, Catalina Pierce; 3 sons, Walter, Evan, and Jesse Pierce; 6 grandchildren, Jessica Pierce, Kristin Bungart, Tyler Pierce, Teven Pierce, Autumn Pierce, and Tara King; 3 great-grandchildren, Edward Lee Bungart, Dawson Griffin, and Carson Huey; 6 siblings, John, Sharon, Jimmy, Bob, Mike, and Donna Garcia; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday December 16th at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers.
