Obituary

Marybeth Chrisman, age 72 of Three Rivers, died Monday May 26, 2008 at her home. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on June 3, 1935 the daughter of the late Walter W. and Inez A (Bradford) Nash. She lived in Three Rivers most of her life having spent 18 years in Alaska. She graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1953. Marybeth married Charles Chrisman on May 15, 1954 in Three Rivers, MI. Marybeth was a member of the Bethany Chapel. She was employed as a secretary to the Director of Nursing at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, puzzles, reading, sewing and crafts. Marybeth is survived by her husband, Charles; 2 daughters; Janice (Hernan) Chrisman-Rivas; and Kathy (Shawn) Jones; all of Anchorage, Alaska; a son Christopher Chrisman (Sheila Lake) of Norwich, CT; a brother Donald (Sue) Nash of Stayton, Oregon; 2 sisters; Corinne VanBuskirk of Warren, MI and Laura Jean Capelli of Winston Salem, North Carolina; a sister-in-law Bonnie Nash of Three Rivers; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Herbert Nash and brother-in-law Clifford VanBuskirk. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 3-8 p.m. on Friday at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Bethany Chapel with Rev. Tim Moore, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in Moorepark Cemetery.
