Marlene Ruth Myers, age 92, of Three Rivers, MI, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, at The Orchards in Three Rivers.

She was born on September 4, 1933, in Elkhart, Indiana, the daughter of Donald and Nellie (Yenna) James. Marlene was first married to Phillip Tinsley, and later, on May 18, 1991, she married the love of her life, Walter L. Myers, in Three Rivers.

Marlene worked for many years at The Dairy Bar in Three Rivers during the 1980s and was also employed by Vent Line in Elkhart. She was a woman of deep faith, attending services at Bethany Chapel and spending countless hours reading and studying her Bible. She was especially fond of the writings of Charles Stanley and Joyce Meyer.

She will long be remembered for her warm spirit, her devotion to family, and her famous baked beans recipe enjoyed by so many. Marlene loved adventure as well—she cherished riding motorcycles with Walt and traveling together to places such as Turkeyville and New Mexico.

Family was the heart of Marlene's life. She rarely missed a school event, proudly cheering on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren through the years.

Marlene is survived by Jim (Deb) Tinsley of Constantine, MI; Dorothy Mathiak of Sturgis, MI; and Melanie (Dean) Owen of Constantine, MI; her grandchildren Wendy (Robert) Cowen, Levi (Megan) Owen, Mason (Lita) Owen, Austin (Brighton) Moreland and Ameythist (Kyle) Hagenbaugh; and her great-grandchildren Madison, Isac, Trey, and Luxx Owen; Lane and Octavia Moreland, Nikolai Hagenbaugh and Chloe and Lincoln Tinsley; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Phillip Tinsley; grandsons Keith Tinsley and JD Owens; great-grandson Jared Tinsley; and her siblings Shirley Harding and Donald James, Jr.

In accordance with Marlene's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Vicksburg Cemetery in Vicksburg, Michigan.
