Marianne Gildea, CMC, passed away unexpectedly on Friday October 17, 2008 at her home in Dallas Texas, where she was pursuing a career as a Certified Medical Coding Specialist in a large OB/GYN practice.
She was the daughter of Mary (nee O'Reilly) and Cleon Gildea of Three Rivers, MI., who preceded her in death.
She is survived by sisters Judy and Nancy and brother James and Thomas and their spouses and families. Marianne enjoyed the title "Special Aunt Mo" from all of her nieces and nephews; Ralph, Jeff, Ryan, Erin, Patrick, Brandon, Jessica, Rachel, Elizabeth, Cole, Ryan, Sean and Devin.
She was born and raised in Three Rivers, MI., and graduated with honors from TRHS. She later attended the University of Michigan and Nazareth College.
Marianne was a unique and special woman. She loved to read, travel and cook. She was also an award winning member of the Dallas Quilt Guild, which she served in many capacities, while creating her beautiful quilts.
She had a deep love for animals and was a loving friend to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched. We will always remember the beautiful smile with which Marianne greeted each day and every joy and new challenge in her life.
Family will receive friends, Friday, October 24, 2008, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary at 8:00 p.m., at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel, Three Rivers, MI. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Father Mark Vyverman officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
