Jeanette Jakubowski, age 103, formerly of Three Rivers died Dec. 3, 2019 in Kingman, Arizona. She was born in Bronson, Michigan on Oct. 30, 1916 the daughter of Clark and Neva Bitting. She graduated from Three Rivers High School and later moved to Grand Rapids. She was married to Cyril P. "Jake" Jakubowski, and resided in Three Rivers for 33 years and later moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ. She and her husband were former members of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Three Rivers B.P.O.E. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting. Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Doris Hawkins of Oceanside, California; five grandchildren, Kathy (Tom) Brennan, Robin (Daniel) Guidera,, Dick Hawkins, Jr., Jeff (Robin) Hawkins, and Tammy Rodriguez; ten great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Cyril died in 1986 after forty years of marriage. An interment of ashes took place at Riverside Cemetery with Rev. R. Mathias, Pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church officiating. Local assistance was provided by the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel of Three Rivers.
