Lillian Anne Renfro, age 92, died Sunday Oct. 13, 2013 in Winter Garden, Florida. She was born in Whiting, IN on July 27, 1921 the daughter of Andrew and Rosalina (Dancisak) Fedorko. She graduated from George Rogers Clark High School in Whiting with the class of 1940. She enlisted in the U.S. Navy WAVES in 1942 and served as a Radioman. While stationed in Miami, Florida she met George Thomas Renfro and they were married on June 3, 1943 at the Church of the Gesu in Miami. Following WWII George and Lillian lived in Three Rivers where they were longtime owners of the Fisher Lake Shell & Grocery. They moved to Mendon in 1978 where Lillian retired from Lear Sigler Plastics in 1986. She moved to Clermont, Florida in 1990. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, George in 1984. She is survived by her sister, Rosemarie Bauman of California; brother, George "Jerry" Fedorko of Indiana; daughter, Karen (Renfro) Smith; son, David T. Renfro both of Clermont, FL; 3 grandchildren, Roger Whitus and Evan Stichter of Virginia Beach, VA and Zoe Smith of Clermont, FL. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 19, 2013 in Riverside Cemetery in Three Rivers with military honors provided by Hice-Shutes American Legion Post #170.
