Leo F. Studabaker, age 71 of Three Rivers died Thursday Feb. 23, 2017 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born in Three Rivers on May 21, 1945 the son of James W. and Lillian E. (Merritt) Studabaker. He was a lifetime resident of the area and graduate of Three Rivers High School. Leo was employed at Simplex Paper Co. in Constantine for several years. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, and cooking. Leo was married to Helen B. Kline on June 9, 1964 in Centreville. She survives along with five sons, Kenneth (Jacqui) Studabaker of Shelby Township, Christian Studabaker of Upper Michigan, Leo Jr. (Sherry) Studabaker, Toby Studabaker, and Larry (Crystal) Studabaker all of Three Rivers; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren: and a brother, John (Nina) Studabaker of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jim; a sister, Clara; a niece, Greta, and daughter in law, Jennifer. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has been conducted.
