Leanne Vanessa Regina Ross, age 42 of Jones, Michigan passed away peacefully on June 18, 2025, at Elkhart General Hospital. On March 2, 1983, Leanne was born in Blantyre, Malawi, the daughter of Francis Jhala and Angela (Mortimer) Jhala-Rice. She then emigrated to Indiana to pursue and finalize her education as a QMA. On December 18, 2007, Leanne married Lance Ross, with whom she had two children, Thomas Ross and Keen Ross.

Leanne added a spark to those around her, adding color to our lives. She loved her children and family fiercely and will be remembered for her love for her loving nature, joyful laugh, and love for travel. Leanne was an avid supporter of friends and family. Every sporting event or event of her children and every moment to be spent with friends and family was not missed. She was the life of the party and loved her nieces and nephews as her own.

In addition to being a mother, Leanne has chosen to give the gift of life, potentially 8 additional people through the Indiana Donor Network so that others may continue life.

Surviving Leanne is her loving husband: Lance Ross of Jones, MI; Sons: Thomas Ross and Keen Ross, Jones, MI; Mother: Angela Jhala Rice; Brothers: Brendon Jhala and Francis Jhala, and sister Farrah Smith; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her father: Francis Jhala; and younger brother: Thomas Jhala.

Relatives and friends will be received at Ray Funeral Services, 305 Rock River Ave., Three Rivers, MI 49093, 269-278-1515, on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM-7:00 PM and again on Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM. There will be a funeral service for Leanne held on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 directly visitation at 12:00PM. Anne Gatuna will be officiating the service.

In accordance with her wishes cremation will follow her funeral service.
