Lawrence D. Lane 91 of Three Rivers, Michigan died on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Rose Arbor Hospice following an extended illness. He was born on July 10, 1928 in Three Rivers, the son of Lawrence F. and Adilla S. (Clark) Lane. Resident of St Joseph County and Three Rivers all of his life. Employed by the City of Three Rivers for 35 years, 25 years as the Riverside Cemetery Sextan. Member of the Three Rivers Moose and Eagle Lodges. He enjoyed time with his family, hunting, fishing, traveling, football, and watching golf. Married to Ruth L. Burkett on July 5, 1947 in Three Rivers and she died on April 7, 2008. He is survived by his children William (Melissa) Lane, L. Clark (Alice) Lane, Jack (Amy) Lane. Adopted daughters Lucy Mensah, Lethia Mensah. 4 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, sister Larella Irwin, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Merry Neal, brothers Leonard and Loren (Skip) Lane, 2 grandchildren. Visitation 11:00am to 1:00pm on Friday, Sept. 6, 2019 at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers where services will be held at 1:00pm. Interment of cremains at Riverside Cemetery. Donations to a charity of donor's choice.
