Julia Josephine Rewa, age 90 died Dec. 9, 2014 at Fairview Living and Rehabilitation in Centreville. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on April 26, 1924 the daughter of John J. and Ida May (Shawl) Rewa. Julia resided at the Lapeer and Coldwater State homes, and briefly in adult foster care in Sturgis before becoming a patient at Fairview. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her only sister, Mary DeVlaeminck, and is survived by nieces and nephews. Cremation has been conducted. Her ashes will be interred next to her sister in Mankato, MN at a later date. Memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
