Judith Ann Zink

Judith Ann “Judy” Zink, age 84, of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away peacefully at her home on October 29, 2026.

She was born in Freeport, Illinois, on February 22, 1942, a daughter of Walter and Mildred (Voss) Plowman. Judy was a graduate of Freeport High School in Freeport, Illinois.

Judy spent most of her life in Freeport, where she resided until 2001. She later moved to Rockford, Illinois, before relocating to Three Rivers, Michigan, in 2018 to be closer to her family. She worked for many years at the Thermos Company in Freeport and later retired from J.C. Penney after years of service, where she was employed as a sales associate.

Judy will be remembered by her family and those who knew her.

She leaves behind her children, Michael () Kline of Slinger, Wisconsin, and Leah (Bobby) Lybarger of Moss Point, Mississippi, John (Fiancé: Shirley Hamil) and Mervin (Kimberly Lee) Posey of Palm Dessert, California. Grand Children: Kevin (Kim) Kline, Kolton Kline, Schandy (Jeremy) Walker, Corey McElmeel, Camille Kline,  and Maddison Posey; Great Grands: Kelly Kline and Breanna Kline, Ethan Walker, Natalie Walker and Johnathan Walker, Marin McElmeel, Freya McElmeel and Sadie McElmeel; Steph Children: Ricky Zink, Justin Zink and Cathy Zink; Step- Great Grands: Dakota Walker and Ansley Walker.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Terry Plowman.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
