John Albert Wallace Jr., age 62, of Marcellus, Michigan, passed away on October 14, 2026, at Bronson Methodist Hospital. He was born in Three Rivers, Michigan, on February 7, 1964, a son of John Albert and Norma Jean (Ockerman) Wallace, Sr.

John spent many years working in lawn care and tree trimming. He worked for Waste Management for 15 years and also worked for Aspen Tree. He was an outdoorsman through and through, with a love for hunting, fishing, and spending time enjoying the things that made life special.

Known for wearing camouflage every day and enjoying a Coors Banquet, he was happiest being himself. He loved playing the drums and listening to music, especially '70s and '80s rock and roll, with KISS being a particular favorite. He also enjoyed bluegrass music. Above all, John was an optimistic person who loved life. He was genuinely a good guy who left an impression on those who knew him, and his son, Austin, held a special place in his heart.

John is survived by his beloved son, Austin Wallace of Three Rivers, Michigan; his sisters, Cindy Chapman and Mary Wood; and many nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Michael Lay of Marcellus, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his significant other, Angel Bronstetter, who passed away in 2003.
