John Robert Goble, age 78 of rural Mendon, died Friday Feb. 18, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. He was born in Three Rivers on April 17, 1932 the son of Claude and LuLu (Hackenberg) Goble. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bert, and his second wife, Pauline. John is survived by his step-children, Patricia Lynn (Ivan) Black of Greer, SC, Leroy Bennett Powers of White Pigeon, and Maylor (Russell) Black of Shipshewana; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
