Jeffrey N. VanDyke, age 63 of Three Rivers died Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at his home. He was born in Vicksburg on Feb. 19, 1957 the son of the late Robert E. and Beverly J. (Nash) VanDyke. Jeff graduated from Vicksburg High School then served in the U.S. Army from 1977 to 1981 as a member of the 82nd Air-born Division. He was a mechanic and worked at Bud's Standard Service in Portage, Eliason Door Corporation, and Kalamazoo Sailing Center. When he wasn't working - he was still working. He enjoyed getting his hands dirty by helping family and friends, working on their vehicles and boats, and doing lawn care. He looked forward to camping trips, and the annual visit to the Upper Peninsula.
Jeff was married to Kathleen Davison on Dec. 3, 1993 in Portage. She survives along with two sons, Dallas Davison and Joshua Davison both of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Chase and Arabella Davison; three siblings, Robin VanDyke of Mendon, Ricky VanDyke of Three Rivers, and Randy (Carol) VanDyke of Kalamazoo; and by nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been conducted. Interment and military rites at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan will take place later this spring.
