Janet Marie Williams, age 68 of Three Rivers, died Thursday Dec. 15, 2011 at her home. She was born in Three Rivers on April 12, 1943 the daughter of Lloyd and Ella M. (Bean) Swinehart and was a lifetime resident of Three Rivers. She graduated from Three Rivers High School in 1960. Janet had been employed as an accountant at both Viking R.V. and Glen Oaks Community College in Centreville. She enjoyed shopping for her family, card-playing, reading and singing. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Janet is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Williams; two children and their spouses, Ted (Michelle) Hilliard and Sherry (David) Morrill; three grandchildren, Madison Hilliard, Westley and Danielle Morrill; 2 brothers, Norman (Lorraine) Swinehart and Dwayne (Jeanie) Swinehart ; 2 sisters, Nancy Dailey and Debra Mellen; several nieces and nephews including Chad Mellen. She was preceded in death by her father,Lloyd Swinehart her mother,Ella Schultz and step-father, Earl Schultz.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday Dec. 19, 2011 at the funeral home with Janet's brother, Pastor Dwayne Swinehart of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Hemlock, MI officiating. Burial will follow at Poe Cemetery in Newberg Township. The family suggests that memorials be directed to the Area Agency on Aging. An online register is available at www.efhchapel.com
