James Jim Mark Jackson, age 67, of Mendon, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2023 at Three Rivers Health, in Three Rivers, MI. He was born July 26, 1956 in Belvidere, IL. His mother and father were Glen and Frances (Raphoon) Jackson. Jim married his wife of 39 years, Vicki Cunningham in Morris, IL on June 29, 1984. Jim and Vicki have resided in the St. Joseph County area for the last 30 years having moved from Union, IL. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #474, Fraternal Order of the Eagles # 2303 and the Elks Lodge #1248 all of Three Rivers, MI. Jim retired last year from DRV/Cruiser after working there for the last 10 years. Before working for DRV/Cruiser he worked at Jayco for 15 years. Jim loved to play pool, and passed the skill down to his Daughter, Jacki. He was great with cars and had a special place in his heart for his 1952 Ford Victoria. He enjoyed cooking, especially BBQ and gardening his vegetables and herbs. He loved his dog Skipper, but above all he loved being a Grandpa or Bobo as Max, his grandson, lovingly called him. Family was so important to Jim. Surviving Jim is his loving wife of 39 years, Vicki Jackson of Mendon, MI; Daughter; Jacki (Andrew Kortman) Jackson of Three Rivers, MI; Grandson: Maxwell Kortman of Three Rivers, MI; and several Cousins.
