James M. Harvey, age 42 of Three Rivers, died Tuesday Sep. 21, 2010 at his home. He was born in Three Rivers on April 13, 1968 and was a liftime resident of Three Rivers. He graduated from Three Rivers High School and attended Glen Oaks Community College, recieving certificates in auto repair. He was employed as an auto mechanic in Three Rivers and Kalamazoo. Jim enjoyed spending time with his two sons, fishing, working on cars, and watching NASCAR races. Jim is survived by his mother, Janice E. Harvey; his father, John R. Harvey; two sons, James J. Harvey and Jackson R. Harvey; his brother, Joe Harvey (Danyelle Williams; the mother of his children as well as her children, Teresa Kovac, Ricci Kovac, and Dusty Kovac all of Three Rivers. He was preceded in death by his brother, John R. Harvey. Friends may call at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers on Monday Sep. 27, 2010 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Carr, Pastor of the Corey Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
