Howard M. Kent, 93, passed away in peace at his home on Monday, November 7, 2016. He was born on February 28, 1923 in Union, Michigan the son of Bracebridge and Lydia (King) Kent and lived in the Three Rivers area all of his life. He was a welder all of his life, employed by Clifton Engineering, Fairbanks-Morse, and retired from the Cook Nuclear Power Plant. Member of the Pipefitters Union. Married to Charlotte A. Rifenberg, she preceded in death on July 5, 1996. He is survived by his 3 daughters, Linda (Robert) Evenson of Grand Blanc, MI; Sandra (Paul) Keeler and Denise (Robert) Meyer of Three Rivers. 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, wife, 7 brothers and sisters. Visitation on Friday, November 11, 2016 12:00 Noon to 2:00pm at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers where services will be held at 2:00pm. Interment in Poe Cemetery, Jones, MI. Donations may be directed to Three Rivers Hospice.
