Gordon Lee Knauss

Gordon Lee Knauss, 93, of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home on October 8, 2026. He was born on October 6, 1933, in Three Rivers, the son of Donald M. and Hattie E. (Bohnenstadt) Knauss.

Gordon graduated from Three Rivers High School and served on active duty in the United States Army, followed by several years in the Army Reserves. On April 18, 1959, he married Fern Marie Bell in Three Rivers. He enjoyed tinkering with clocks and watches and spending time visiting garage sales.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Fern Marie Knauss; and his brothers, Donald, Jerry, and Larry Knauss.

He is survived by his son, Michael (Karen) Knauss; grandchildren, Kelly (Scotty) Hall and Kyle (Laura) Knauss; great-grandchildren, Benson and Weston; and several nieces and nephews.

Gordon and Fern will be laid to rest together at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd, Augusta, MI 49012, on Friday, October 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Those attending are asked to arrive around 1:50 PM in the funeral assembly area.
