Gary Alvin Hudgins, 75 of Three Rivers, Michigan passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his home. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of Benjamin C. Hudgins and Barbara A. Hudgins. Gary was a graduate of East Troy High School in Wisconsin with the class of 1964. Gary moved to Constantine, Michigan in 1965. He served in the Army in Vietnam one year, 11 months and 21 days. He was honorably discharged March 2, 1972. At the time of his discharge, he held the rank of Sergeant. Gary was employed at Coachmen RV in Middlebury and Upjohn in Kalamazoo most of his life. He graduated from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in 1992. He stared farming in Wisconsin when he was in high school and died doing what he loved. Gary is survived by three daughters, Heather L. Hudgins on Centreville, Alice A. Galovan of Vicksburg and Michelle M. Cushing (Brian L. Cushing); five grandchildren, Owen Cushing, Dylan Sandy, Ben Cushing, Emma Sandy and Nolan Galovan. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and his daughter. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, MI 49012 at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022.
