Dorothy K. Pierce, age 76 of Three Rivers, died Monday, May 28, 2018 at her home following an extended illness. She was born on April 9, 1942 in Centreville, Michigan the daughter of Seth and Della (Bronstetter) Brown, and was a resident of the Three Rivers area for most of her life. She was a homemaker, member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, and Fraternal Order of Eagles all of Three Rivers. She is survived by her children, Richard C. (Terrie) Pierce, Scott A. Pierce, and Susan M. Shafer; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard Brown; sister, Virginia Ely; and daughter in law, Dorris Pierce. She was preceded in dearth by her parents; husband, Robert C. Pierce; son, Kenneth Wayne Pierce; sister, Barbara Allen; and granddaughter, Amanda Ann Shafer. Cremation has been conducted. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Three Rivers Eagles Lodge followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery. Donations may be directed to Great Lakes Caring Hospice.
