Delmer D. Wood, Sr., age 76 of Three Rivers, died Monday May 17, 2010 at his home. He was born in Three Rivers on June 28, 1933 the child of Virgil and Margaret (Bowen) Wood. He lived all of his live in the Three Rivers area and was employed by Continental Can Co. for 12 years, and was a carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Dlemer is survived by 2 daughters, Kippy (Marshall) Pebler of Three Rivers, and Penny (Steven) Fenwick of Centreville; 2 sons, Mike D. Wood of Portage and Delmer D. Wood, Jr. of Three Rivers; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Art) Funk of Elgin, IL; brother, Sidney Wood of Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents. There will be no visitation. Cremation has been conducted. A Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday May 25, 2010 at the Eickhoff Farrand Halverson Chapel in Three Rivers. Interment of ashes will be in Constantine Township Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directd to the American Cancer Society.
