Danielle Renae Ballard

Danielle Renee Ballard, age 34, of Three Rivers, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2026, as the result of a car accident. She was born in Three Rivers, Michigan on January 2, 1992, and she spent her early life in the Constantine community. Danielle graduated from Constantine High School with the Class of 2010.

Danielle was a one-of-a-kind person who lived life in her own unique way. She was eccentric, artistic, crafty, stubborn, outspoken, strong-willed, and strong-minded. She had a wonderful sense of humor and could always bring laughter to those around her. She enjoyed coloring, creating fairy gardens, collecting rocks, and expressing her creativity in many different ways. She loved listening to R&B and old country music and was a passionate Michigan State fan, always cheering on MSU.

Above all, Danielle loved her family. She was a loving and caring mother who cherished her daughter, Caidence Ballard. She was also a wonderful aunt, affectionately known as “TT,” and absolutely adored her nieces and nephews. 

Danielle worked for many years at Haulmark in Elkhart and most recently worked in landscaping, where she enjoyed being outdoors and working with her hands.

Danielle is survived by her beloved daughter, Caidence Ballard; her “Pops,” Gary Bruce Swann of Sturgis, MI; her siblings, Chris (Emily) Swann of Three Rivers, MI, Travis Swann of Elkhart, IN, Ian Ketchum, and Dean Nichols; her biological father, Joel Nichols of Florida; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Sue Swann.

In accordance with Danielle’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Ray Funeral Services, 305 Rock River Avenue, Three Rivers, Michigan, has been entrusted with her care. There will be a Celebration of Life at Ray Funeral Services on Friday, August 21, 2026 from 4:00- 6:00 PM.
