With hearts full of love and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious daughter, Dahlia June Sanders, who was born sleeping at 16 weeks gestation.

Though her time with us was far too brief, Dahlia was deeply loved from the very beginning. She brought immeasurable joy, hope, and dreams to her family, and her tiny life forever changed the hearts of those who eagerly awaited her arrival. Even before she was born, she had already become a cherished part of countless conversations, hopes, and plans. During her pregnancy, her mom developed quite a sweet tooth, a small but treasured memory that will forever be connected to Dahlia and the love that surrounded her.

Dahlia is forever loved by her parents, Andrew Robert Sanders and Jennifer Rena Sanders; her brother, A'drien Sanders and her sisters, Jenessa Elkins, Aubrey Sanders, and Allison Sanders.

She is also lovingly remembered by her paternal grandparents, Deon Sanders and Denise LaBare-Witham; her maternal grandparents, Michael (Cynthia) Shoufler, Susan Shoufler; her aunts and uncles, Devanee Short; James and Abbie Randol; Elizabeth and Cody Wagner; and Samantha and Josh DeGonzague; along with several cousins and a large extended family who already held a special place in their hearts for Dahlia.

Although Dahlia never had the opportunity to take her first breath, she was surrounded by unconditional love every moment of her life. She leaves behind tiny footprints on the hearts of all who loved her. Her memory will forever remind us that love is not measured by the length of a life, but by the depth of the love shared.

Cremation has taken place.
