Betty Louise Cutler, age 91 of Three Rivers, died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Three Rivers Health Emergency Room. She was born in Bloomingdale, MI on May 23, 1917 the daughter of Vinton E. and Hildred (Rothenberger) Cooley. Betty has lived in Three River for over 50 years. She was a member of the Daughters of American Revolution, enjoyed gardening, sewing and crocheting. She worked for the Telephone Co. as a Telephone operator. She married Leal S. Cutler on April 9, 1950 in Bloomingdale, MI. he passed away August 10, 1993.
Betty is survived by a daughter, Diane Haskell of Hamilton, MI; son, Thomas Jay Cutler of Three Rivers; a brother Rev. Paul Cooley (Joyce) of Bradenton, FL; and a sister Florence Oswald (Elmer) of Three Rivers, MI; sister in law June Cooley; Granddaughters, Heather Winter and Meghan Lopez; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Franklin Cooley and a son-in-law Larry Haskell.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 13, 2008 from 1-2 p.m. at the Eickhoff, Farrand, Halverson Chapel, Three Rivers where funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Cooley, of Sudan Interior Mission, Bradenton, FL, officiating. Interment will be at Peek Cemetery, Constantine.
